If you’re feeling like you should be doing more for the local community, here is your chance! On the 18th of May we are hosting a charity cream tea for The Stables Horse Activity Centre (go follow them on Facebook or check out their website). Its a wonderful organization that is open to everyone in the community and welcomes individuals and groups.
Riding horses is an excellent way of giving people with all abilities and disabilities an opportunity to achieve a sense of independence and freedom. But they don’t just offer lessons, they also provide an environment where people with learning disabilities can spend time caring for horses and thereby gaining confidence from the special interactions, for example – watering, feeding and mucking out with the support of our team.
This year they are celebrating their 25th anniversary and fundraising to
turn the boggy paddock into a riding school. It will cost about £10,000 to take off the surface mud put in drainage and a new safety surface.
Please book your table by messaging The Stables on Facebook or by emailing Elaine at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The event will take place from 3.30PM on the 18th of May and will cost £5.
Hope to see you then!
